About Me

Magdeburger Joe: This blog advocates my "labour conservative" world view. I want toinclude posts from people of different viewpoints. As a Jew who supports Israel, I realise that Israel is very much influenced by the United States and the west in general. As such, I want America to be a country to be worth emulating in all respects. Since prayer was banned in America's public schools in 1963, there has been a further departure from this ideal state. Although I admire and support America's governmental structure, I believe that different groups living under different conditions can act on universal moral laws in widely divergent ways. The traditional Jewish view of universal moral laws is "The Seven Noahide Commandments, which are as follows; 1) Worship G-d 2)Don't curse G-d. 3)Don't Kill.4) Don't Steal.5) Don't commit sexual immorality. 6)Don't eat the limb of a living animal. (Cruelty to animals). 7) Institute systems of government. These wide parameters define my political philosophy. Rudi Stettner's blog has a cultural focus that is international in scope.
